Akiruno Mew Mew is a fanmade spin-off of Tokyo Mew Mew. This series takes place in Akiruno, a city in Tokyo.

Summary[]

The story focuses on a 12-year-old girl named Sakura, who is a student and wishes to be one of the most popular girls in Akiruno City. One day, she sees a strange glowing light coming from the sun, and Sakura turns into a Mew to save the world. She is joined by Luna and Momoka, and later the space princess Clara, to save the goddess of the future from the evil Team Black Grape.

Mew Mew[]

Characters[]

  • Sakura Yumehoshi: The first Mew Mew. She's sweet, cheerful, and happy-go-lucky. She likes fashion and wants to be a model when she grows up. Her Mew form is Mew Cherry.
  • Luna Tsukino: The second Mew Mew. She's intelligent, clever, and beautiful. She is a musically talented person who enjoys playing the violin. Her Mew form is Mew Grape.
  • Momoka Sorayama: The third Mew Mew. She is admired by others due to her calm and stoic nature. Because she has known her friends for such a long time, she often feels responsible for being there for them; to an extent, she feels this way about everyone, believing it to be a natural responsibility. Her Mew form is Mew Elderberry.
  • Princess Clara Shirakawa: The fourth and last Mew Mew. She has a magnetic personality and a spontaneous, imaginative nature that brings excitement to any situation. She is a humanoid alien princess who was sent to Earth to help the Mews defeat Team Black Grape and save Idia, the Goddess of the Future. Her Mew form is Mew Cream.

Supporting Characters[]

  • Maria Aozora: She is a scientist who is the creator of the Akiruno Mew project.
  • Cherry-Berry: She is a little robot girl who acts as a guide and instructor to the Mews during their missions.
  • Idia - The Goddess of the Future, who comes from the Realm of Time. She had been captured by Team Black Grape at the start of the series, and without her, the future would be in danger, so she is counting on the Mews to free her from Team Black Grape’s control so she can return to her realm and restore the future.

Aliens[]

  • Black Grape: She is the leader of Team Black Grape. She is feisty, mysterious, independent, and always wants to take the lead. Even though she is usually greedy, she doesn't mind going through great lengths to get whatever it is she truly desires.
  • Chili: She is the first member of Team Black Grape. She is brave, brutal, and strong, both physically and mentally. Even though she is full of brawn, she isn't exactly the sharpest tool in the shed.
  • Snowberry: She is the second member of Team Black Grape, and the youngest. She is playful, innocent, and naive. She tends to get distracted easily, and her curiosity tends to get the better of her. Because of how young and inexperienced she is, the other aliens tend to get frustrated with her and tell her that she is not a good invader. Her catchphrases are "It wasn't my fault!" (それは私のせいではありませんでした!, Sore wa watashi no seide wa arimasendeshita!) and "That was fun! Let's do it again!" (それは楽しかった! もう一度やりましょう!Sore wa tanoshikatta! Mōichido yarimashou!)
  • Pea: He is the third member of Team Black Grape. He is normally seen as cynical, rude, and deceitful, and tends to reply sarcastically to express his annoyance and usually mocks the other aliens by calling them nicknames. His catchphrases are "Booyah!" (よっしゃー! Yosshā!) and "Are you Ready? Let's do it!" (順便いいか? 行くぜ! Junbin Īka? Ikuzē!).
  • Lemon: He is the fourth member of Team Black Grape. He is a calm, cool, and clever adolescent, but often has a hot-headed fiery temper, and can sometimes let his pride and anger blur his better judgement, and he also takes unnecessary risks to prove himself.
