This series is similar to Cinderella Monogatari but with a few differences and it's based on the fairy tale The Twelve Dancing Princesses by the Brothers Grimm.
Plot
Twelve Dancing Princesses Episodes
In a kingdom called Kediaclya, there are twelve princesses who live in a castle with their parents and two older brothers. Their parents are strict and stern with them and always busy with the kingdom as well as the eldest brother is busy as a crown prince while the second eldest brother is busy planning his wedding to a princess of another kingdom.
It soon changes with an immortal magic fairy name Maud who gives them a ring that opens a portal to a magic world with many castles where they can dance as long as they want and be there as long as they want. The princess always sneaks out of the castle disguised as a commoner. Their lives are about to change when the eldest princess name Georgette meets a boy named Dylan who is actually a son of aristocrats and also goes disguised as a commoner when secretly leaving his home as well while dealing with an evil wizard who wants to take over the kingdom.

- Princess Georgette - She usually wears a dark red dress and flats. In her commoner disguise, she wears a lavender skirt, a brown vest, magenta shoes, and a white long-sleeve shirt. She has an interest in history. She is 20 years old. She has black long and wavy hair, fair skin, and brown eyes. She's happy and kind.
- Princess Ameline - She usually wears a dark blue dress and flats. In her commoner disguise, she wears a raspberry short-sleeve dress and black shoes. She is very intelligent. She is 19 years old. She is a part of the triplets with Estelle and Colette. She is the eldest triplet. She has Auburn Short and wavy hair, fair skin, and brown eyes. She is calm and collected.

- Prince Kevin - he wears red boots, a blue jacket, a black tie, dark red pants, and a grey shirt. He is the crown prince of Lothoharin. He is 21 years old. He has brown spikey hair, fair skin, and green eyes. He is serious and a perfectionist.
- Prince Pierre-Antoine - he wears light green boots, a green jacket, a beige tie, tan pants, and a white shirt. He is 21 years old. He has black spikey hair, fair skin, and green eyes. He is fearless and serious. He is getting married to Princess Marie-Madeleine.
- Princess Sylviane - she is Prince Pierre-Antoine Fiancee. She wears a long-sleeve magenta dress, a white pearl necklace, and milk-blue high heels. She has a pink short-sleeve dress and orange flats. She has blue eyes, tan skin, and long and wavy brown hair. She is kind and understanding. She is the princess of a kingdom called Aleliloth. She is 20 years old.
- Queen Rachelle and King Jean-Yves - The king wears a dark indigo turquoise bowtie, teal waistcoat, red vest, pale blue shirt, dark red pants, and pale yellow shoes. The Queen wears a light green long-sleeve dress and a red necklace. They wear a gold crown. Both strict and stern with them and always busy with the kingdom. They like order, structure, and rules, and tend to be rather stiff and formal. She has blonde hair in 6 ringlets, blue eyes, and fair skin. He has short Auburn hair, pale skin, and blue eyes. They appeared in ep 1.
- Sonia - Dylan's older sister. She wears a midnight blue short-sleeve puffy dress, teal heels, and a red necklace. She wears a pink long-sleeve dress with red stars on the skirt and white flats. She has long and curly black hair in a side ponytail, green eyes, and tan skin. She is 23 years old. She first appeared in ep 1.
- Guillaume - He is the Castle steward. He wears a grey suit. He has short grey hair and a beard, pale skin, and green eyes. He appeared in ep 1. He is responsible, dutiful, kind, selfless, and patient.
- Dylan - a son of aristocrats who also goes into disguise as a commoner when secretly leaving his home. He wears a blue shirt with a yellow jacket, an orange necktie, beige pants, green socks, and white shoes. In his commoner's outfit, he wears a red shirt under a beige waistcoat, green trousers, white socks, and yellow shoes. He is 20 years old.
- Anne-Sophie - She is Nicolette's Favourite Poet. She appeared in ep 5. She wears a shirt-sleeve baby pink Dress, a white apron, and blue flats. She is cheerful, perceptive, and understanding. She travels around the world to create poems. She has tan skin, brown eyes, and short and wavy brown hair in a ponytail.
- Nathan - He is wearing a short-sleeve grey shirt, red pants, white socks, and green shoes. He has short brown hair, fair skin, and green eyes. He is playful and cheerful. He is 6 years old. He is the younger brother of Diane's friends. He appeared in ep 13.
- Thibaud - an evil wizard. He appeared in ep 1. He has pale skin, short Auburn hair, and green eyes. He wears a white long-sleeve shirt, green pants, and red boots. He wants to take over Kediaclya. He is evil and ruthless he was defeated in the finale and he permanently became a statue.
- Maud - she is an immortal magic fairy. Maud gave many people an item to go to Straeqioryon so that they can go to at any night to dance. Maud is in charge and protects the magical world that she created herself. She appeared in ep 1. She has black long and way hair in a braid, tan skin, and brown eyes. She wears a long-sleeve magenta dress, a pearl necklace, and milk-blue high heels. She is kind and sweet.
Locations
- Kediaclya - the main setting of the series. It’s a kingdom.
- Straeqioryon - this magical world has many castles that anyone can go to any one of those castles to dance. The time in the magical world is different if someone spent hours then they have gone for a few minutes from their world. It is created and protected by Maud who only a few allow certain individuals to go there.

- The old woman in the original fairytale does not appear and instead her role is instead played by Maud.
